Terms of Service
Last updated: August 9, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you visit https://www.calldcelectrical.com, contact us, request an evaluation, or book service with DC Electric, Inc. ("DC Electric," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this site or scheduling work with us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Our services
DC Electric provides residential electrical services in the greater Austin, Texas area, performed by licensed electricians. Where a job requires a permit or inspection, we handle that as part of the work. Service availability, scope, and scheduling are confirmed by our office — submitting a form or requesting a booking is a request for service, not a confirmed appointment, until our office confirms it with you.
Evaluations, estimates, and written proposals
Where offered, an on-site evaluation is complimentary. Pricing for work is provided as a written flat-rate proposal before work begins. A proposal covers the scope described in it; work outside that scope is quoted separately before it is performed. Unless stated otherwise in writing, proposals are valid for 30 days. Any fees that apply to a visit are disclosed at booking.
Scheduling and cancellations
Our office schedules all appointments and will confirm your time window. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please tell us as soon as you can so we can offer the slot to another customer. Scheduling is generally first-come, first-serve, with occasional exceptions for urgent issues.
Payment and financing
Unless your proposal or invoice states otherwise in writing, payment is due on completion of the work. Financing, where offered, is provided by third-party lenders such as GoodLeap, under their own terms, disclosures, and approval process — DC Electric is not the lender and does not make credit decisions. Monthly-payment figures shown on this site are examples only and depend on the lender's terms and your approval.
Warranties
Our workmanship warranty depends on the work performed: panel upgrades carry a 10-year workmanship warranty; most other work, including EV charger installations, carries a workmanship warranty of up to 5 years, with the exact term stated in your proposal or warranty agreement. Equipment is covered by the manufacturer's parts warranty. Any additional written guarantees (for example, the DC Electric Exclusive Guarantees on EV charger installations) apply only during an active warranty agreement and as described in that agreement, including where replacement equipment is customer-supplied. Warranties cover the work we performed and do not cover unrelated systems, pre-existing conditions, damage caused by others, or modifications made by anyone other than DC Electric.
Your home and site conditions
You agree to provide safe access to the work area. Concealed conditions (for example, damaged wiring inside walls, code issues from prior work, or utility-side problems) are not always visible during an evaluation; if we discover them, we will show you and provide options in writing before any added work.
Website content
Content on this site — text, images, and design — belongs to DC Electric or its licensors and may not be copied or reused commercially without permission. We work to keep information current and accurate, but site content is provided for general information and may change; your written proposal controls for any specific job.
Communications
When you submit a form or book with us, you agree that we may contact you about your request by phone, text, or email, including through our scheduling and messaging providers. Message and data rates may apply to texts, and you can opt out of non-service messages at any time by replying STOP or telling our office.
Third-party services
Booking, payments, financing, and analytics on this site are supported by third-party providers (for example, ServiceTitan, GoodLeap, and Google). Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for how information is shared with them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, DC Electric's liability for any claim arising out of services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific work giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that Texas law does not allow to be limited, and nothing limits our responsibility for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be resolved in the state courts located in Travis County, Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and changes apply from the date they are posted.
